Oregon Striped Bass (Striper) season runs February through April. These awesome fighters can hold their own with any of the other larger Oregon coast fish species. If you are looking for some early spring fishing action, this trip may be just the one you're looking for.

There are two Oregon River basins that have significant populations of striped bass.  These are the lower Umpqua River / Smith River estuary, and Coos Bay and associated rivers, especially the Coquille River system.
